Code of practice heat preserved fruit - EN / FR
The Code of Practice for preserved fruit has been drawn up by the OEITFL in order to provide a necessary voluntary reference framework to ensure fair competition on the Community market. It sets out fair and traditional practices for the production and marketing of preserved fruit. In this way, it allows proper implementation of Directive 2000/13/EC relating to the labelling, presentation and advertising of foodstuffs. It harmonizes not only the criteria for filling cans and glass jars but also the necessary methods of analysis and sampling to verify the drained weight
